VIII day- Evaluation

Today was the last day of our exchange. We had our youthpass given out. We all were so proud of ourselves, but we were also sad because we knew that our exchange is going to be finished. Some of us was even crying! We hadn't expected that we could feel like a big family! In the evening we had a big farewell party.

VII day- action-reaction-implementation"

Today we had another action which was associated with the promotion of volunteering. Out task was to play a game which is called "egg game". We had to change out egg for other things with local people. It was a difficult task, because not every one wanted to talk with us. Moreover, we had to convince people that our egg is a real treasure. We all enjoyed the game and we saw that work with other people is really difficult.

VI day-Action-reaction-preparation!

Today we were making movies about volunteering. It was a new experience for us. Everybody had fun, but we also got to know about volunteering. With these movies we were able to prepare the stocks which promotes volunteering. 

Today we had also the Polish evening. We prepared lot of games and our friend could get to know something more about our country;)

V day- Let's build your carrier!

Today we were talking about really serious topic. First we were surprised why beacuse we thought that we are too young to think about our path of carrier. Now, after workshop, we know that even now we can create our future! Now we can improve our creativity which help us later.

IV day- volunteering- way to change the world!

What does volunteering mean? 

It was the first question which we heard in our workshop. It seemed that answer would be easy, because everyone heard about volunteering in his life. The workshop was unexpecting ! we saw a diffrent point of view. Now we know that being a volunteer is not easy task. We know that a good volunteer should be trustworthy and other people should feel safe in his comapny. We had also short exercises how to be a good volunteer and how to help other people. We also got to know how difficult is to trust other people. In the evening there was Czech evening. Our friends prepared it so good that we saw some part of Czech Republic in only one hour!

Today, we had a Czech energizer after that we were divided into groups and played group games. After lunch, we did an activity named “Culture pizza”.  In the evening, Lithuanians had their national party. It was a really great day.

Dzisiejszy dzień był bardzo atrakcyjny. Po śniadaniu poszliśmy na wyczerpującą rozgrzewkę taneczną grupy czeskiej. Następnie zostaliśmy podzieleni na grupy międzynarodowe i dostaliśmy listę zadań do wykonania, m.in. nazwę grupy, śmieszne fryzury, maskotkę drużyny i zorganizować pokaz mody. Wszyscy bawili się super, a dodatkowo nauczyliśmy się współpracować w grupie. Na kolejnych zajęciach rozmawialiśmy o kulturze. Nie podejrzewaliśmy, że taki temat może być przeprowadzony w tak ciekawy sposób, poprzez zabawę. Po zajęciach czekała na nas niespodzianka w postaci pizzy. Z niecierpliwością czekaliśmy również na wieczór międzykulturowy, który poprowadziła grupa z Litwy. I tak minął kolejny dzień pełen atrakcji.

If I had to describe this day in one word, it would be "perfect". The given tasks were very unique and interesting, various games left an unforgettable impression and the whole day itself was spent by talking, screaming, laughing, dancing and singing. I hope the other days will be as incredible as this day was!

Jei reikėtų apibūdinti šią dieną vienu žodžiu, tai būtų "tobula". Duotos užduotys buvo labai išskirtinės ir įdomios, įvairūs žaidimai paliko neišdildomą įspūdį ir visa diena buvo praleista labai smagiai bešokant ir bedainuojant. Aš tikiuosi, kitos dienos bus tokios pat įspūdingos kaip ši!

III day- Challenge day!

Today we had day full of attractions. After breakfast we had Czech warm-up. It was demnading and tiring but we knew a traditional Czech dance-polka. We all enjoyed it. Next task was the challlenge game. We were divided into international groups and we had to prepare the name of our group, fashion show, our mascot and other interesting tasks. It was for us a new experience because we had to work and communicate together. In the afternoon we got to know something more about culture. The workshop was unusual. We had to prepare a culture pizza and than we got to know something about stereotypes. After such a great day we all were waiting for a Lithuanian evening. Friends from Lithuania prepared an amazing evening. We got to know some new information about this country and after we all had a great party;)

Our participant's opinion about Saturday :)

Today was very fun and energetic. We all enjoyed the game with ping pong ball, fruit salad and the game on the benches. Evening was super fun too because we had so many celebrities in one place :) The project is just getting started but we already enjoy it very much ;)

Ši diena buvo labai linksma ir energinga. Mum visiem patiko žaidimas su stalo teniso kamuoliuku, fruit salat ir žaidimas ant suoliukų. Vakaras taip pat buvo įpatingai linksmas, todėl kad pas mus buvo tiek daug įžymybių vienoje vietoje :). Projektas tik prasideda, bet jis jau mums labai patinka ;)

II day: ice-breaking and team-building games

Today we had a lot of ice-breaking and team-building games. They helped us to get to know each other. The forst day was full of attractions. We got to know a new way of learning, which is completely diffrent from this at school. Firstly we were a little bit stressed because it was first time for us speaking English in front of other people. We were afraid of this but eventually everything was ok and we spent a nice time together. We became one big team. The surprise in the evening was great! We haven't have such fun for ages!

I day: some updates from first day on exchange in Murzasihle....

Our participants have arrived safety. Today they had short meeting to get to know each other. We are full of positive energy and we are looking forward for next day full of attractions.

The "Activity through Creativity" will be implemented from 1st to 9th of September 2014, in Poland, in Zakopane. Participants of the project will be 13 - 15 years old young people from four different EU member countries, in total 35 people including their teachers. The primary objective of the project is to stimulate innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship of youth. During the workshop, by using methods of informal education, youth will gain important skills, such as: teamwork, tasks planning, risk management and conflict resolution. Together, in international groups, they will work on planning their future education and job. Thanks to spending time in an international environment, young people will learn the benefits of cultural diversity, recognize common values and would seek a common European identity.

Foundation of European Initiatives in Silesia (FEIS) was founded in 2010. Its main objectives are: development of civil society , promoting European awareness, inclusion of people excluded or at risk of exclusion to participate in social activeness, mobilization of young people to participate in public affairs and promotion of cultural ​​and geographical values of polish province - Silesia in Europe.

Since its beginning the Foundation has been proactive in organizing youth exchanges . Until now FEIS had completed eight projects under the Programme "Youth in Action", during which developed such  topics as: future of the European Union, youth entrepreneurship, youth participation in democracy and volunteering in general. The Foundation also participated as a partner of the third sector in the project Comenius - Regio, implemented by the polish district of Będzin. FEIS pursued also a number of activities at the local level. One of them was a long-term action "Friendly FEIS of volunteering", during which the volunteers of the Foundation organized meetings with youth in schools in aim to promote the concept of volunteering and speak about practical side of this activity. FEIS has also supported a number of other activities. Their volunteers took part in a series of training courses, projects, exchanges and actions at international level. Currently, the Foundation's headquarters is located in Bytom, and the level of its activity aspires to be a regional.
